Laser Engraving Services

General Enquiries

Answer: Yes, in fact we only specializes in providing engraving service. Item/material for engraving will need to be provided to us for the engraving.
Answer: You can send us your enquiry through our Contact Us Form and we will get back to you within 1 – 2 working days. Do kindly fill in the details required in the form as accurately as possible so that we will be able to have a better understanding on the job and provide a more accurate quote.
Answer: Payment can be made in cash/cheque upon completion of job.

Metal Engraving

Answer: Almost all metals, ranging from metals like Stainless steel, to Brass and Aluminium can be laser engraved. If you are unsure if your intended material can be laser engraved, feel free to contact us!
Answer: Almost all kind of metal can be engraved.
Answer:

  • Flat metallic pieces should not exceed the dimensions of 10cm (Length) X 10cm (Breadth)
  • Cylindrical pieces should not exceed 9cm (Diameter) X 21cm (Height)
Answer:

  • Raw metals may have a black or white finish over the laser engraved surface.
  • For coated metals, you will be able to choose either have the similar black finish as raw metal or just leaving the finishing being the base colour of the metal underneath the coating.
  • Anodized metals will not have a black finish but will change in colour upon engraving. However, the colour of the finishing will depend on the base colour of the metal.
Answer: Only possible to laser engrave logos, line art and texts onto metals. Uneven surfaces will result in an uneven engraving.

Plastic Engraving

Answer: Almost all plastics, ranging from plastics like Acrylic, to Polycarbonate (PC) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) can be laser engraved. Plastics can be flat or cylindrical in shape. If you are unsure if your intended material can be laser engraved, feel free to contact us!
Answer: Only Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Polyvinyllidene Chloride (PVDC) plastic cannot be laser engraved.
Answer:

  • Cylindrical pieces should not exceed 9cm (Diameter) X 21cm (Height)
  • Flat pieces should not exceed the dimensions of 40cm (Length) X 30cm (Breadth) X 6.5cm (Height).
Answer: This depends on the plastic material itself. Generally clear acrylic will gives a frosted effect. Opaque plastic though no change in colour but will instead give a depth to the engraving. For more advise on the effect of the material you intend to engrave, feel free to contact us!
Answer: Plastic materials are the easiest materials to laser engrave and have little limitations. It is possible to laser engrave logos, line art, text and images onto plastics. Uneven surfaces will result in an uneven engraving. If you are unsure if your intended material can be laser engraved, feel free to contact us!

Glass Engraving

Answer: Any glass that is flat or cylindrical can be laser engraved.
Answer: Almost all kind of glass can be engraved.
Answer:

  • Cylindrical pieces should not exceed 9cm (Diameter) X 21cm (Height)
  • Flat pieces should not exceed the dimensions of 40cm (Length) X 30cm (Breadth) X 6.5cm (Height).
Answer: Laser engraving or etching on glass produces a “frosted” effect that is unique and different from sand blasting.

Wood Engraving

Answer: Any type of wood ranging from chip board to cork board and even solid wood can be laser engraved. Wood can be flat or cylindrical in shape. If you are unsure if your intended material can be laser engraved, feel free to contact us!
Answer: Almost all kind of wood can be engraved.
Answer:

  • Cylindrical pieces should not exceed 9cm (Diameter) X 21cm (Height)
  • Flat wooden pieces should not exceed the dimensions of 40cm (Length) X 30cm (Breadth) X 6.5cm (Height).
Answer: Different type of woods may have different depth of engraving colour and effects. Chipboard and corkboard will have a more “burnt” and darker effect while solid wood are more resistant to burning and hence, a lighter effect. The depth of engraving can also be controlled. It is possible to have an extremely deep engraving or a surface engraving on wood.
Answer: Wood with varying grains might result in uneven engraving because those grains might not burn as easily as the rest of the wood. It is possible to laser engrave logos, line art, text and images onto wood. Uneven surfaces will result in an uneven engraving. Leather, Demin & Other Engraving

Answer: Almost any kind of material can be engraved, ranging from hand phone cases, water tumblers, granite stones, velvet pouches etc. Work pieces can be flat or cylindrical in shape. If you are unsure if your intended material can be laser engraved, feel free to contact us!
Answer:

  • Cylindrical pieces should not exceed 9cm (Diameter) X 21cm (Height)
  • Flat wooden pieces should not exceed the dimensions of 40cm (Length) X 30cm (Breadth) X 6.5cm (Height).
Answer: Different materials will have different finishing. If you are want to know more about the finishing of your intended material after laser engraving, feel free to contact us!

Camera Lens Cap & Ring Box

Camera Lens Cap Details/Ordering

Answer: Yes! Camera lens cap sizes are universal. As long as you have the correct camera lens cap diameter, it will fit any camera lens from any brand.
Answer: There are 2 ways to determine the diameter of the camera lens cap, from the back of the camera lens cap or the lens. Please refer to the diameter which is indicated by this symbol “Ø”

Answer: Any logo of your choice! However, for better effect, it is best to select a black and white logo or line art images. Do note that some logo and line art might be too fine to be engraved on smaller sized lens caps. The picture/image should be approximately 300dpi and above for best results. Answer: Common file formats such as JPEG, BMP, PNG and GIF are recognizable. Any file format that is recognizable by Adobe, AutoCAD and Corel will be accepted as well.
Answer: There are 15 fonts available for your selection. You can view our font catalog here. You can also request any other fonts available from google fonts.
Answer: There are 14 colors available. View our color catalog here.
Answer: You can only engrave one color per lens cap.
Answer: As the colors are imprinted on the lens cap, expect the surface to be similar to T-shirt imprinting. Despite the slightly rough finishing, it is waterproof, drop-proof, and can withstand minor scratching. However, the finishing will be removed if it is scratched forcefully by sharp objects like keys and pens!
Answer: The lens cap holder is shipped out together with your purchased lens cap absolutely FREE!
Answer: Yes. We will send you the appropriate lens cap holder that your purchased lens cap can fit onto.

Payment for Customized Lens Cap & Ring Box

Answer: At present, we only accept payment through Paypal (MasterCard, Visa and American Express). For other payment arrangements, please contact us at enquiry@customizzare.com.
Answer: Upon order confirmation, you will be re-directed to the Paypal payment page to proceed with payment.
Answer: Paypal will send you a confirmation of payment and that will be used as the receipt for your orders. Please keep a copy of the e-mail as proof of purchase until you have received your item.

Answer: Shipping is free for all local and overseas shipment! =)
Answer: All products are shipped via registered mail.
Answer: We will ship out the item between 3-5 business working days. The actual shipping time thereafter would be based on your location and courier service.
Answer: All items are shipped out via registered mail. Please kindly contact us at enquiry@customizzare.com and upon confirmation regarding the lost package, we will send a replacement order for absolutely free.
Answer: Products are packed in a bubble-wrapped envelope for shipment

Our Return Policy for Customized Lens Cap & Ring Box

Answer: The buyer will have to send an email to return@customizzare.com with the following details:

Name, Email, Paypal Transaction Number, Address and Contact Number.

The buyer will have to send the defective lens cap together with the lens cap holder back to us upon 7 days of receiving our product and we will provide a one-for-one replacement absolutely free! Feel free to contact us at return@customizzare.com for return shipping details.

Answer: In the unlikely event that there is an engraving or color imprinting defect/damage, the buyer will have to send an email to return@customizzare.com with the following details:

Name, Email, Paypal Transaction Number, Address and Contact Number and details of the engraving defect/damage with photo.

We will look into the issue and will get back to you within 2 – 3 working days. If any error is caused by our side, the buyer will have to send the defective/damaged item back to us upon 7 days of receiving our product and we will provide a one-for-one replacement absolutely free!
